But I have a NEW WEBSITE,
so consider visiting there instead if you want to see what games I've released.

game: Defiant Black [Mar. 8th, 2006|01:38 am]

(Another Screen)
(Another Screen)
description: Sort of a starship captaining sim. Your goal is to fly around and eradicate the enemy armada (over a randomly generated universe with 100 sectors, so it's kind of a marathon) while managing your shipboard systems and scouting for cargo to sell in order to keep your vessel in condition. Kind of like EGAtrek, if you've ever played that one.

game: 2elacsy [Jan. 7th, 2006|02:57 pm]

(Another Screen)
(Another Screen)
description: An enhanced version of elacsy, but with an online score table and some new enemies (as well as some changes/deletions among the original foes).
You can score simply by staying alive, shooting enemies, grazing bullets and collecting the green tokens dropped by cargo planes.
Should be joystick compatible but this hasn't been tested much.

awards: none

NEWSPOST [Dec. 19th, 2005|01:50 pm]

The V-CR server is back online, so I can release 2elacsy once I have some free time.

Santasm 2 is finished, however it's being entered in two competitions so I won't be able to release it until the judging is done. Have some screens though:

game: elacsy [Oct. 24th, 2005|03:05 pm]

description: Another one-day game. A simple vertical shooter, survive as long as possible to accrue points. A fun game with great music by Nastyman, not too much replayability though. But it's real tough, as the enemy patterns (based on a semi-random generator that will do the same thing only if you play *exactly* the same way twice) can build up some really complex bullet patterns. When more than one big plane appears at once things get interesting.
My high score is 8650 if you were wondering.

game: Santasm [Oct. 24th, 2005|03:01 pm]

description: My entry for the 2004 TDC Xmas "Mario-Like" Compo. Took about two weeks, was rushed a bit. Santa has to take back his castle from the evil elf worker union. Features three worlds, a boss named Phil, Snowpimps, dance music and the ability to dress up as a samurai. Neat, eh?

awards: 3rd place TDC Xmas Compo 2004

game: Cycloid [Oct. 24th, 2005|02:53 pm]

description: I quite like this one, but I picked one of those names you just can't Google so I don't know if anyone else does... Anyway, it's a small horizontal shooter that took about three days to make. The twist is that you can aim with the mouse. It also has some really neat music.
Note: It gets easy if you keep the fully powered-up gun, but try killing yourself (you have unlimited continues) at the beginning of each level for a real challenge. That's what I do.

game: Kaiser Kitty [Oct. 24th, 2005|02:43 pm]

description: My favourite, and apparently everyone else's, too. It's a puzzle platformer in which you have the ability to shift gravity up, down, left and right at will. Naturally this affects everything else around you as well. The aim is to collect all of the security grid crystals in a room to open the exit, then use that exit to exit.
There's currently a large, massively improved sequel in the works (not KKGaiden!). I promise it will rock hard.

awards: TDC Game of the Week #98, Home of the Underdogs Top Dog

game: Blobfort [Oct. 24th, 2005|02:37 pm]

description: Another game made in one night, this one an endurance arcadish sort of thing that has you flying around in a little spaceship thing and destroying semi-randomly generated blob fortresses.

awards: TDC Game of the Week #108

game: Ball Bastard [Oct. 24th, 2005|02:29 pm]

description: A game made in a single night. Recieved good reviews. Essentially a very pure platforming game: no special moves, no collectibles, just run and jump on enemies. Oh, and there's some tricky level design in there. My neighbour used to love trying to kill everything without taking one hit, unfortunately there's one stage where getting hurt is unnavoidable. But based on that I've started on a large sequel named Bastard World, which I think I'll just finish off and release at this point as I've lost interest.

The d/l for this game has disappeared and I don't ever intend to re-release it due to it sucking.
